The profile of creative thinking is a general person's view of human mental activity in solving
mathematical problems with the ability to find various possible answers or find one answer in common but
in various ways. This research aims to describe the profile of students' creative thinking based on Wallas
Stage in solving mathematical problems of fractional operations based on gender differences. This research
was conducted in Junior High School 6 Jember. Research subjects are all students of class VII B which
consists of 27 female students and 11 male students. Interviewing process was conducted using Snowball
Throwing method in which subject is randomly taken until finally 3 male students and 3 female students
has been obtained as the subjects of the interview. Data collection is done through test and interviews. The
results of this research showed that male and female students have been through four stages of creative
thinking according to Wallas namely the preparation stage, incubation stage, illumination stage and
verification phase. Male students are able to write down what is known and asked in the question well but
explain the purpose of the question less fluently (preparation), through the process of short-while brooding
(incubation), obtain one idea of correct solution (illumination), less detailed and coherently write the steps
of problem solving, and has reviewed the answer (verification). Female students can write down what is
known and asked in the question completely and fluently explain the purpose of the question (preparation),
through process of long-while brooding (incubation), obtain one idea of correct solution and coherently
write the steps of problem solving (illumination), And has reviewed the answer by recalculating the results
of the work (verification).

One of compulsory subject taught in SMPLB-A is mathematic. Geometry is
known as part of mathematic. SMPLB-A student also learn rectangle and square but there
is only few media and worksheet that can make them learn independently. This research
is developing a worksheet based on four-D models. The developed Braille worksheet have
to satisfy validation criteria, effectiveness criteria and practicality criteria. After analize
data from research process, obtained that validation average value (Va) is 3,77 which
means this Braille worksheet is valid. The effectiveness criteria is obtained from student’s
and teacher’s activity which indicate that the activity is satisfy ideal time, so the Braille
worksheet is effective. For practicality criteria, we use questionnaire to student. From
the questionnaire, value percentage reach 86,25% which indicates that the Braille
worksheet at good category and satisfy the practicality criteria. After Braille worksheet
fullfill the validation, practicality and efectifeness criteria, this worksheet can be
disseminated to school.

This study aims to identify students’ misconception in terms of mathematics anxiety level. The type
of this study was descriptive research with qualitative approach. The methods of data collection in this study
used questionnaire, test, and interview. The subjects of this study were VIIIA grade students of Islamic
Junior High School 2 Banyuwangi. Students’ test results are analyzed using four-tier diagnostic test to
determine students understand the concept, do not understand the concept, and misconception. All
students who have low mathematics anxiety level tend to understand the concept, students who have high
mathematics anxiety level tend to do not understand the concept, while students who have middle
mathematics anxiety level identified as misconception, but there were some who do not understand the
concept and also understand the concept. Students’ tes results who identified as misconception were
analyzed according to indicators of misconception. In this study the percentage of each form of students’
misconception to solve TIMSS problems with the total 31 students, 29% translation misconception or as
many as 9 students, 16.1% of operation misconception or as many as 5 students, 29% of calculate
misconception or as much 9 students, 16.1% systematic misconception or as many as 5 students, 12,9%
concept misconception or as many as 4 students, and 22.6% of strategy misconception or as many as 7
students.

This study aims to identify the critical thinking of the seventh grade students of
MTs Negeri Jember 1 in solving the mathematics problem sub subject of social
arithmetic. The standard of critical thinking used in this study is bassam's that is clarity,
precision, accuracy, relevance, consistency, logical correctness, completeness, and
fairness. The instruments used in this study are math tests and interview guides. Subjects
in this study are students of class VII MTs Negeri Jember 1 semester even in the academic
year 2016-2017. In the social arithmetic material of the students of class VII MTs Negeri
Jember 1 tends not to meet all the critical thinking standards that Bassam has, but for
the matter of applying the selling price of the students of class VII tends to write down
what is known and asked, ordinary interest of grade VII students tends not to meet all
Bassam's critical thinking standards.
