dc.description.abstractThe research background was breast milk supply decrease that caused the failure of the let down reflex to stimulation of oxytocin secretion by neurohipofise. Oxytocin vertebrae massage is one of method that can stimulate secretion of oxytocin hormone which can help mioepitelium cell contraction to stimulate breast milk secretion from the alveoli into the lactiferous duct system and infants’s mouth. Oxytocin vertebrae massage done regularly on morning and afternoon for twelve time. The study goal to identification the difference of let down before and after oxytocin vertebrae massage. The design of this study was pre experimental research with one group pretest and posttest. The population in this study were 18 respondents and the samples were 15 respondents. Respondents of this study were breastfeeding mother infants 0-6 age months. Data analysis with wilcoxon matched pairs test. Result shows there is very significant difference of the proportion let down smoothness between before and after intervention with p value=0.008. The study suggestion is the application of oxytocin vertebrae massage to breastfeeding mother.en_US
