dc.description.abstractJember is one of the districts that placed in the eastern part of Java island. Jember has heterogeneous society because of the mixture of Javanese and Madurese communities. Because of these factors, Jember has unique characteristics compared to other regions. The uniqueness is a merger the two cultures between Javanese and Madurese cultures into a new culture that is called pandhalungan. However, the language used in Jember also slight interesting, they are who Javanese ethnic use the Javanese in their daily life, however, the Javanese is used in Jember (dialect Jember) have significant differences when compared to standard Javanese (Solo-Yogyakarta). This is due to the influence of the language used by the Mudurese ethnic communities settled in Jember. The purpose of this study is to describe the differences the form of lexical, morphological (affixation) and sentence structure between the Jember Javanese Dialect and Standar Javanese on ngoko level.en_US
