| dc.description.abstract | Dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain caused by uterus muscle spasms. There are
64,25% dysmenorrhea secondary incidences and 54,89% dysmenorrhea primary
incidences. Dysmenorrhea could make somebody left their activity to take a rest. One
of non-pharmacological therapies that could be used to decrease the dysmenorrhea
was dysmenorrhea gymnastic. The aim of this research was to identify the difference
of dysmenorrhea pain before and after dysmenorrhea gymnastic on SMAN 2 Jember
female students. This study used quasy experimental design with non equivalent
control group in December 2011 to January 2012. The sample of this study was thirty
students, devided in to two groups they are experiment group was about 15 students
and control group was about 15 students, determined using purposive sampling
method. T dependen and T independent test were used to analysis data. The result of
experimental group showed that p value (0,000) was less than α (0,05) so that it
could be concluded that there was a difference of menstrual pain level before and
after gymnastic dysmenorrhea. The result of control group showed that p value
(1,000) was more than α (0,05) so that it could be concluded that there was not a
difference of menstrual pain level before and after gymnastic dismenorrhea on female
students who didn’t do the gymnastic. The conclusion of the study was that there is a
significant difference of menstrual pain level after dysmenorrhea gymnastic.
Dysmenorrhea gymnastic is recommended for decreasing menstrual pain level. | en_US |
