Ae. aegypti is the main vector of Dengue Haemorraghic Fever (DHF). The salivary gland (SG) of Ae. aegypti contain proteins that plays an important role in pathogen transmission especially immunomodulator proteins. We have characterized 2 immunogenic proteins from which are able to be recognized only by IgG of people living in endemic area. The objective of this research is to further characterize those two immunogenic proteins (bands) i.e. ~31 and 56 kDa from salivary gland of Ae. aegypti by using proteomic analysis i.e. mass-spectrometry analysis (LC MS/MS). The result of proteomic analysis by using LC MS/MS of 31 kDa band consisted of eleven proteins. The most abundant protein was identified as D7 protein (37 kDa salivary gland allergen Aed a2). Six proteins were identified of the band 56 kDa and the most abundant was Apyrase. We have identified 7 proteins were involved in blood feeding (41%) and 8 proteins (47%) had unknown function.en_US
