dc.description.abstractThe research aims to identify the effect of the element shape toward the total heat which is resulted. The strains source used was 22.5 volt and also used calorie meter that contain of water 200ml. The element was made of nickel wire in coil shape. This research used three kinds of coil shape such as: 1) threat spiral; 2) circle spiral; 3) planplanar spiral. Those elements produced different total heat. The threat spiral produced heat up to 2760.32 calorie. The circle spiral produced heat up to 2438.25 calorie. Finally, the planplanar spiral produced heat up to 2541.24 calorie. This experiment can be conclude that the shape of the element effect the total heat.en_US
