dc.description.abstractIntroduction: ANC is a program including observation, education, and medical treatment on pregnant mother to obtain a safe and satisfactory pregnancy and childbirth process. ANC goals are monitoring the progress of pregnancy and ensuring maternal health and infant growth and development, so pregnant mother were expected to obey the ANC visit. Mother’s compliance on doing ANC visit is caused by internal and external motivation. The study aims to determine the relationship of 3rd trimester pregnant mother motivation with antenatal care (ANC) visit obedience. Method: The research used cross sectional method and data was determined by proportional stratified random sampling. The respondents in this study were 67 3rd trimester (8-9 months) pregnant. Result: The results showed the majority of respondents who have good motivation obey ANC visits. The results of chi square test, showed p-value = 0.002 <α (0.05) and OR value=5.953, the study conclution there was a relationship of 3rd trimester pregnant mother motivation with Antenatal Care (ANC) visit obedience. Discussion: The study suggest that maternity nurse can work together with community nurse on health education to increase pregnant mother’s motivation in ANC visits.en_US
