dc.description.abstractA good security room certainly has a good locking system also, the unlikely happened burglary. In other words needed additional security systems which are more difficult to manipulate. One solution is to use biometric technology. Biometric technology is an applied technology that uses the physical characteristics typical of a person's body as a measure that distinguishes it from other people. In the present study was made using a face detection system. Facial identification is done using the method Triangle Face is to detect facial features that form a triangle on the face (eyes, nose and mouth). Of the features that have been specified will be searched value of the distance between the eyes, the distance of the eye to the mouth, face width and face height. This distance which will be used as a differentiator between one another. From system design described above showed that face recognition system with Face triangle method has an accuracy of 90%. Where there is a 10% false positives and 0% negative errors, and it can be said this system is safe enough to be applied in the access room.en_US
